micro-AMS Inc. ("micro-AMS") will promote the protection of personal information by instituting the Personal Information Protection Policy outlined below, building frameworks for the protection of personal information, and thoroughly entrenching activities and an awareness of the importance of protecting personal information among all employees.
Management of personal information
micro-AMS shall undertake strict management of personal information, implement safety measures, and put in place other measures required to maintain the customers’ personal information accurately and in the most recent form, and to prevent unauthorized access to personal information as well as the loss, destruction, falsification, or leaking of such information. Measures shall include the maintenance of security systems, putting in place management structures, and ensuring thorough employee training.
Purposes for the use of personal information
Personal information obtained from customers shall be used to send communications or notifications of operations from micro-AMS, or to forward e-mails and materials in response to inquiries.
Prohibition of disclosure/provision of personal information to third parties
micro-AMS shall appropriately manage personal information obtained from customers, and shall not disclose such personal information to third parties, except under one of the following circumstances:
- When consent has been obtained from the customer
- When disclosing information to a vendor whose operations have been subcontracted by micro-AMS in order to provide services requested by the customer
- When disclosure of information is required based on laws or ordinances
Safety measures involving personal information
micro-AMS shall put in place reliable safety measures to secure the safety and accuracy of personal information.
Access by the customer
In the event that a customer wishes to access, amend, or delete that customer’s own personal information, we will accommodate such requests, after confirming the customer’s identity.
Compliance with, and review of, laws, ordinances, and standards
micro-AMS shall comply with applicable Japanese laws, ordinances, and other standards related to personal information held by micro-AMS, and shall strive to appropriately review and improve the details of this policy.
